Drying is the final step in tea production.main objective is to stop
oxidation and exact the moisture without harming to the quality and
other characteristics of the leaves. here the oxidized leaves are passed
through the drier for 20 mins of time at a temperature of around 240
to 250° F.because of this step, moisture level of the leaves drops 20 –
25% from 60 – 70% before it enters the drier.Drying must be done with
great practice of skills and and also with a great care.
